Private Estate Wedding in Longwood, FL

Brittany and Josh are one of those couples that just exude love. They are so happy together and so in love, and it made them a joy to work with.  They got married on March 15th, at a private home just outside of Orlando in Longwood, FL.  and what a home it was!

The house was gorgeous and sat right on the water, with a sprawling back yard. We set up the gift table inside on a sun porch, the guest book and favor table outside in the courtyard where cocktail hour also took place, and the ceremony down by the water. The reception was tucked nicely in between the water and the courtyard, and the weather could not have been

better

The main color of the day was tiffany blue, and Brittany tied it in wherever she could, with fantastic results. There were wine jugs, antique vases and candles everywhere, with bunches of baby’s breath and hydrangeas gracing every table.

They also had an adorable custom canvas print with their names and wedding date for guests to sign, which was a huge hit!

With the dance floor the focal point of the lawn, and cafe lights strung over the tables, once the sun set the reception became even prettier than it was during the day!

Brittany and Josh were wed with some heartfelt vows and a wine ceremony, before sealing it with a passionate kiss!

Their cake was provided by a friend who works with Publix, and was absolutely delicious!! Cocktails Catering did a fantastic job keeping the drinks, and the food flowing, until all the guests were stuffed and happy.

The night ended with the happy couple settling into the home for the night, and guests eating favors and raving about the party. Pretty much the perfect ending to a perfect wedding day!

Bryce & Steven’s St. Petersburg Musuem of History Wedding

March 1st was another beautiful day in the Tampa Bay area.  The St. Petersburg Museum of History sits in downtown St. Pete, right near the Bay and offers a picture perfect waterside ceremony space.  Bryce and Steven had recently moved back from being stationed in Japan, and deserved a gorgeous wedding day, which is exactly what they got.

Bryce loves octopi, and got custom clay cake toppers on Etsy for their cake, which was a delicious creation by Publix.  Everyone thought the little toppers were adorable, because they were!

Bryce’s family helped with the decor and centerpieces, and with lots of lush greenery, complemented by purple napkins and green and purple bows on the chairs, the room came together nicely. 

There were personalized touches everywhere, including custom made soap and shaving soap bars for favors! They smelled amazing, and it was so different and creative!

The Museum of History is a great choice for a slightly different wedding venue. They have tons of open space for cocktail hour and the reception, but each room offers an interesting and different back drop, as well as lots of stuff for your guests to look at and enjoy during the event.

The DJ had the party going all night, and we wish we’d gotten more pictures of the packed dance floor. I’ve never seen so many family members boogy down right there with the bridal party!!

Bryce and Steven were some of the sweetest and most deserving couple’s we’ve ever met, and we loved being able to help them get everything together during a hectic time of moving!! Congrats Bryce & Steve!
