Cat & Shawn are a fun, bright couple and their wedding was fun and bright to go with them! Their families are hands on, and they are constantly surrounded by love and that’s what their day reflected.
They are two lovebirds from the University of Florida. They wanted a vibrantly colored and laid back wedding on Clearwater Beach this February, and that’s exactly what they got! Surrounded by friends and family, with smiles on their faces, they wed and the party went on into the night! The Bride’s mom and sisters worked on the flowers and did a great job!
They also had homemade cupcakes for their cake, as well as a cookie bar with cookies from their family members for the guests to take home!
The bar was hopping with Pablo, the Barfather performing all sorts of tricks. Trisha from trisha e. photography captured every minute, and everyone had a great time!
It was a fabulous wedding and yet again, we can’t do it justice, so just enjoy the photos!

We were contacted last summer by Michele. She was coming down from Maryland and had in mind a small, laid back wedding on the beach in St.Pete and needed someone to help set it up and keep it running smoothly. We were more than happy to take on the task! She reserved the outside pavilion at Rum Runners at the Sirata Beach Resort, with food and bar provided by them, and a decadent dessert bar from Dancing Cats Cafe.
The pavilion is open air and overlooks the beach, and at night when its quiet you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore. It was the perfect backdrop for the intimate reception for 40 guests, and October 17th could not have been a more beautiful afternoon for a wedding!
Michele had made all the décor by hand, and her parents drove it down from Maryland! Once we set it all up, it took our breath away and brightened the space up even further! Then Dancing Cats arrived with all their amazing desserts for the dessert bar, and this wedding hit another level!
Custom chocolate covered oreos, caramel covered pretzel rods, cupcakes, pie pops, cake pops and lemon squares had all the guests cruising on a sugar high, and we can attest personally that they were all delicious!! The dessert bar was definitely the highlight of the evening for the guests and the bride and groom. There were even enough for everyone to take a goody bag home at the end of the night 🙂
This wedding was the epitome of laid back and relaxed, and was so much fun to help with!
Adam & Jenn were a super sweet, and super busy couple who came to us in need of help. We were more than happy to oblige the sweet couple and help plan their laid back beach wedding. They chose May 2nd as their date, and The Sandbar on Anna Maria Island as their venue for both ceremony and reception.
The Sandbar is a gorgeous venue that offers a sandy toes beach ceremony, with a covered (but still sandy toes) reception near by. The delicious seafood and delectable drink offerings were just what Adam and Jenn wanted, and Kristen from aka photographs was on hand to capture the entire day on film!
Jenn wore a gorgeous dress from Something Blue Bridal, and even though a May rain storm forced their ceremony off of the beach and under the pavilion, the bright colors and the steel drum still made the event sunny and bright.
Minimal flowers were needed because of the gorgeous scenery, and a beachy cake from Publix hit the spot for all of those with a sweet tooth. Black Tie DJs kept the party going, as they always do, and everyone on hand had a terrific time on the beach that night.

July was a hot and humid month here in the Tampa Bay area, but that didn’t stop Mark and Amy from having the wedding of their dreams! In an interfaith ceremony honoring Mark’s Jewish faith, and with all their friends … Continue reading
Brittany is a long time friend of our family, and when she and Jack got engaged we were so excited to work with them! They selected a wedding date of May 9th and a venue of the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. The venue is gorgeous, with plenty of space for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, including a gorgeous outdoor courtyard where the ceremony took place:
Redmond Steel Florists provided gorgeous flowers for the wedding party and tables, and Life Long Photography was on hand to capture the entire day!
Soft pink bridesmaids dresses and grey men’s suits made the entire wedding seem a bit…softer, but the bright lights and loud crowd balanced it out and made it lively! Olympia Catering provided the delicious food, and Lundy’s kept the bar flowing!
It was a fabulous day, and we wish we could relive it over and over again! Congrats Brittany and Jack!

Justin and Annie are a super sweet couple from Boston. Justin’s family lives in St. Petersburg, so they decided to get married here! They chose the St. Pete Beach Community Center for both their ceremony and reception in April and it couldn’t have been nicer!
Castillo’s Cuban Cafe did the catering, with Spunky Spirits providing the bar and fabulous service!! 2Birds Events did the wedding party’s flowers and Photo AnnounceIt did the photography. Their first dance was to “Then” by Braid Paisley, which holds a special place in our hearts and made every eye in the room tear up!
Annie and Justin and their friends had a wonderful time before they returned to Boston, and we couldn’t have been happier to help them!

Brittany and Josh are one of those couples that just exude love. They are so happy together and so in love, and it made them a joy to work with. They got married on March 15th, at a private home just outside of Orlando in Longwood, FL. and what a home it was!
The house was gorgeous and sat right on the water, with a sprawling back yard. We set up the gift table inside on a sun porch, the guest book and favor table outside in the courtyard where cocktail hour also took place, and the ceremony down by the water. The reception was tucked nicely in between the water and the courtyard, and the weather could not have been
The main color of the day was tiffany blue, and Brittany tied it in wherever she could, with fantastic results. There were wine jugs, antique vases and candles everywhere, with bunches of baby’s breath and hydrangeas gracing every table.
With the dance floor the focal point of the lawn, and cafe lights strung over the tables, once the sun set the reception became even prettier than it was during the day!
Brittany and Josh were wed with some heartfelt vows and a wine ceremony, before sealing it with a passionate kiss!
Their cake was provided by a friend who works with Publix, and was absolutely delicious!! Cocktails Catering did a fantastic job keeping the drinks, and the food flowing, until all the guests were stuffed and happy.
The night ended with the happy couple settling into the home for the night, and guests eating favors and raving about the party. Pretty much the perfect ending to a perfect wedding day!
