Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club Coral & Navy Wedding

Fall was a gorgeous season for Florida weddings, and Melissa and Tom’s beachside wedding in November was no exception!  They got married at the fantastic Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club in St. Petersburg, FL and couldn’t have asked for nicer weather as the backdrop!

Melissa LOVES anchors (from her sorority days) and the coral and navy color scheme they selected worked perfectly with the venue and the season.  Little details graced every table, and an amazing photography book of sea photos served as a cute and different alternative to the regular guest book.

They also had guests leave them messages in a bottle, to offer advice on how to navigate their marriage!

The ceremony took place down by the gazebo next to the ocean, with cocktail hour on the pool deck and the reception in the Grille Room.  All 3 locations were breathtaking, and everything you dream about for a Florida beach style wedding.

The cake from Sweet Tweets went above and beyond (as they always do!) and Grant Hemond and Associates kept the dancefloor packed all night long!

Rustic Chic Barrington Hill Wedding

Back in October, a good friend of ours Katie, married her sweetheart Jason.  They’d selected a rustic horse farm in Dade City as the venue, and the day was bright and perfect.  Barrington Hill does a great job with weddings (as I’m sure they do with horses) and the backdrop they provide can’t be beat! They hired Papered Heart Photography to capture the big day. Papered Heart are some of our favorite photographers, as you can see here!

Katie loves purple and green, with touches of black for dramatic effect, and found ways to tie all of that in with her venue.  From the custom wine bottles on the tables, to the fisherman’s groom’s cake, every detail screamed Jason and Katie.

After a gorgeous ceremony under the oak tree, guests enjoyed cocktails in front of the large house on the land, along with some delicious appetizers from Puff n Stuff.  Once Katie and Jason were done taking pictures, they entered for a tear jerking first dance, before everyone moved inside for dinner.

Puff n Stuff kept everyone full and happy and the party went on into the night.  There were adorable coozie favors, 2 delicious cakes from Sweet Tweets Cakery and plenty of booze to go around!

Capped off by fireworks over the farm, the night ended on a high note and Katie and Jason went off happy to a honeymoon in the tropics!
